I've always liked the story of Noah and the Ark, but I've never stopped to consider its practical application. Now I have. Yesterday our hall flooded. Water was everywhere. One of the anti-fire sprinklers malfunctioned in a room and it sprayed water for 15 minutes before it was turned off. The whole hall was flooded, along with the two floors below us. Luckily nothing was damaged, and on the positive side, it was an exciting night; there were fire trucks on site, and fireman and policemen running around.

How crazy. My first night at Budge Hall some genius pulled the fire alarm at 2:00am. A couple hundred freshman guys were standing outside--half of them in boxers--waiting for the firemen to come and check things out!
